Formed as a Native American 501C3 in 2020, BLBS vision is to provide affordable homes for the Klamath Trinity region, by training local residents in the Construction Trades.
BLBS is led by Journeyman Carpenter Frank Richards, a member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Frank is the lead instructor providing classroom and hands on training. BLBS partners with local businesses throughout Humboldt County, Community Colleges, and local Native American tribes.
BLBS is seeking public and stakeholder comments on the Draft Application for the Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) Main Competition Grant.
